Four cards: Eagle, Horse, Dragonfly, Blank Shield. First two upright, last two reversed.
The eyes of eagle see beyond this world. Horse is the messenger between the world of spirit and the world of the body. Dragonfly is illusion, as in the shimmering invisibility of it's wings in flight. For this particular draw, the blank shield has the appearance of a mirror. (the same card will almost never embody the same message twice for me; each time a different "facet" speaks to me)
Strung together as a single message, the story is: that of you which "sees beyond" is reaching to the conscious "you" just as you have been reaching to it, the messages are beginning to get through (horse, messenger). The contrary presentation of dragonfly does not speak of a problem with illusion so much as that the illusion of "reality" is failing, hence you are experiencing more of the larger reality that encompasses both spirit and matter. The reflective appearance of shield in this case responds to the last part of your overall question: look to yourself, seek within.
To put it in plain english without the gobbledygook symbology, you've come to the point on your own path where your questionings and probings have begun to "gel", it is coming together for you but is as yet chaotic. The major next step on the path is self discovery and discipline of self.
