Hi Pacificwhim,

A little late to join this discussion, but I do highly recommend that you check out the work of William Bengston (whose article on the effect of the laying on of hands on transplanted breast cancer in mice someone else recommends). To date he has done 10 experiments at 5 accredited institutions, including 2 medical schools. Mice are injected with a form of cancer known to be 100% fatal, then treated with a specific form of energy healing. In the first 4 experiments 87.9% of the mice recovered to live their full life spans, and those that were later reinjected with the cancer showed full immunity. In later experiments recoveries were close to or at 100%. Dr. Bengston has the distinction of being the first person ever to bring on full life span recoveries of cancer in laboratory mice, yet I bet you never heard of him. The conclusion of the "laying-on-of-hands" paper reads: "we are apparently able to heal mammary adenocarcinoma in laboratory mice on demand".

He also had 2 articles in the spring 2007 issue of the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.

I hope this is useful.

Judith
