can anyone help locate my daughters ipod

Hiya and i'm not expecting miracles but wondered if anybody could help?
the last time we can remember she had it for deffinate was aroud 3pm on thursday,she had it when we left our friends we got in my car and my friend said she had it then we drove home she got out the car and come in the house,
thats as far as we remember for certain, she did go back outside but she cant remember if she took it with her? we have turned the house upside down but cant find it, so we are thinking she has left it ouside and someone has taken it? or maybe 1 of her "friends" has taken it from inside the house? we have asked her friends and neighbours but no one seems to have seen it or just isnt saying, it is a ipod touch her dad had it for xmas but a couple of weeks ago he got a i phone so let my daughter hav the i pod
as you can imagine he is going ballistic lol, and i cant sleep either i keep getting up and looking, keep hoping maybe i will see it in a dream lol but no luck yet.
anyone who can try and help please do, it will be appreciated
