| Hi, I've been doing spiritual healing for a few years now and I have observed something which I haven't seen discussed elsewhere and it may be of interest to others. I've noticed various sensations when healing that don't seem to occur during other times and I associate them with the flow of healing energy. The same sensations occur whether I am healing people by laying-on-of-hands or healing people at a remote distance. Initially, I noticed that at different times, the amount of healing energy that would flow was not always the same. However I've found that by concentrating correctly I am able to get high amounts of energy flowing consistently. I would describe the correct effort of concentration as not super-intense or straining but also not thinking of extraneous thoughts - only thinking of healing while healing. | What you describe can be caused by doing too much meditation. Based on just your message I can't be sure how much meditation you are doing but you might try stopping for a while and see if you feel better. What you describe sounds exactly like what is called "detachment". It is a state that is caused when the mind becomes very calm from meditation. Also sometimes when you meditate and the mind becomes calm, tumultous thoughts of daily life decrease and you can become aware of other thoughts that might be lurking in the back of the mind that ordinarily are drowned out by the ordinary thoughts of daily life. This can result is a lot of emotions arising as a result of meditation. Somepeople feel compelled to work through these emotions while others may prefer not to go that road. So if you don't like what is happening maybe you shouldn't meditate, or meditate less, or try a different type of meditation, or try relaxation exerciese instead of meditation. | Thanks anoymous, That really helps. What you've said are true. I've ben doing a lot of "mind stuff" lately like "spoon bending", "feel the energy between your hand" and of course, meditation. I'll try to quit from doing these "mind stuff" for a while. THANKS------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| I disagree. The more you work with energy the more your mind stays trained. The problem is when you begin to think it is you doing it. Of course focused mind in a relaxed state is the way to go. But its also a state of surrender to the energy flowing through you that is essential. One must train oneself to relax is to release ahead of a healing or energy practice for best results, particularly if you are new to it or have trouble with nervious thoughts and emotions. I might suggest before doing the energy practice, tapping along the flow of your main meridians. Or, just tap on your face, chest, under your arms, abdomen area. If you want, you can lay on your back and do toe tapping too. Breath in and out fully and feel the energy release through your fingers and toes... After that do lower belly breathing to gain power into and through your second chakra. You can also suck in energy through all the cells of your body from around you, right into the bone marrow. Finally, you can suck the energy up through the ground through your liver meridian channel up through your legs and into the abdomen and down through your head and feel a white or golden light coming down and into your body. Surround your body with a white light or green light for healing. If you are an energy healer you can easily feel the energy now. As you gain practice with energy, it will not be so hard to feel it mostly. I can be talking with someone and draw heavenly energy at will...during conversation and anytime basically. One thing that no one likes to talk abut and which takes time and effort is that you have to be ready to go on a spirtual growth journey in order to increase you ability to use the universal energy power and direct it. Old emotional scars and memories stored in your body must be released. Tapping and other meridian exercises, breathing techniques, jumping and screaming, and other methods should be used. At some point in time you will begin to learn the truth about who you really are and etc. and you will become more at peace, smile and feel like a lot of weight has been taken off your shoulders. When you start to realize your non-separation, your energy work will manifest your intentions... It's not like you begin to think about a red Cadillac and that is what shows up....usually... its that the essense of what you have in mind shows up... What we all have is pre-conceptiosn about how the world and our life and stuff should be. Without preconceptions your creative mind and the mind of god or universal mind will work together.... Life energy will then flow better and you will know what the heck I am talking about... just keep up your training forever and grow yourself and realize divinity... |
