Default Sound Healing

Hello, my name is Jaqueline Marie. I am a certified massage therapist with a background in classical voice and music. I would like to share with you my experience of sound and how it can be used as a medium for healing.

While performing classical music in Brussels, I became aware of the powerful effect sound vibrations had on my listener’s state of consciousness and overall wellbeing. I returned to California to share my experiences and begin my practice as a Sound Therapist.

One memorable session took place with a lovely woman who was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and sever stomach pain. She had been in traditional therapy for many years without much success.

15 minutes into her sound session her anxiety, and stress related headache dissipated. I observed the knots in her digestive tract relax and release. The emotional tension held in her stomach, neck, shoulders and chest was greatly alleviated. When the session was finished she reported having a deeply moving experience, one which allowed her to let go of the sadness she had been carrying. She no longer had pain in her stomach, and her heart felt much lighter.

Here is an example of the sound I created to assist her process: Jaqueline Marie - Home

I am surprised to know about this. Is it really possible, I can't believe it.

I am currently in physical therapy after breaking my foot in two areas earlier this summer. Now able to walk on it again, I have only lost 10% of the use of my foot following the break fortunately, but I am wondering how the ultra sound helps in the healing of the broken bones.

This is a completely new idea to me. I am somewhat knowledgeable about energy healing, but I've never heard of sound healing before. It seems remarkable, I really need to look more into it.

I have been reading mroe and more about sound healing. I am still looking into it but have spoken to some people who have said they saw results.

it would be interesting to see mroe details on the process if someone is using it becuase I have heard conflicting reports on how it works.

Dear Jaqueline Marie,

Accidentally today I thought that apart from graphic symbols of Reiki, some other energy healing, there should also be certain healing audio symbols that should play the role similar to that of strong graphic symbols.

Of course OM and other 'Ms have strong healing impact, but they are more or less self-contained. Speaking about audio symbols I mean that probably there are some sound combinations exist that can amplify or add specific properties to healing methods.

Or may be they exist and I have no idea about them ?

It would be a pleasure to hear your opinion.

I find this very interesting. I have worked as a mental health nurse for 35+ years and have always been aware of the role that music/music therapy can play.

As many who practice meditation are aware, the mantra that is chanted is an essential part of the process and it is the resonance of the sound that is important.
