Hayfever Remedies I learnt these tips while I was pregnant and had bad hayfever, and of course couldn't take normal antihistamines.
Cinnamon - cinnamon is a marvellous antihistamine! In acute hayfever if you chew a piece of a cinnamon stick (carefully - it's hot!), you should notice an almost immediate alleviation of your symptoms. You can take it anyway you like really - in food, in tea or coffee, added to hot water, or if you can handle it you can just chew a piece of a cinnamon stick or even just pop a mouthful of ground cinnamon into your mouth. You can also get cinnamon capsules.
Garlic is also an antihistamine, and can be taken in capsule form or of course in food.
Vitamin C is also reputed to have an antihistamine effect. |
