That's a really cool video.
The yellow in the glass looks like it's a reflection of the overhead light-source; it appears to shift position on the glass as he moves it, which makes me think it's not a fixed-source.
As for the magnet theory, that was my initial thought, but he touches the glass with that hand several times in the video, with no visual effect. I suppose it could be an electromagnet, but how would a regular glass be made to react to that? (I could be wrong, there, as it certainly does "feel" like a magnet field effect)
I wonder if perhaps he surreptitiously places some kind of wire to the under side of the glass as he was showing that there was no wire? He goes to lengths to specifically press the base of the glass to his palm, it looks like.
Really neat video, though; my assumption is that it's a magic trick (he sounds like he's a confident performer, which doesn't mean anything necessarily, but suggests something, I think), because, yes, it's an easier explanation than genuine telekinesis.
I think you'd need to see the trick in person, or see a much higher quality version of the video to really explain what happened; there could be a wire involved, or it could be a case of the camera being stopped and started again, but with the resolution of that video, it's hard to tell. |
