Wikipedia, again...

I wonder if some of you have felt that Wikipedia was a place where there is a need to behave as watchdogs, shall I say, due to the presence of some very persistent and passionate folks who seem to be on-wiki 24/7.

I gave up editing WP because of those people, but I recently heard -- again ! -- of some worrying stuff, concerning parapsychology.

My belief is that WP is too important to be neglected, but at the same time that the problem of "guerillas" (not to mention anti-intellectualism, conformism, etc) down there should not be underappreciated.

Anyone sharing these thoughts and willing to work on this problem?
