| Hello, everyone. I've posted my interview with Miroslaw Magola, the magnetic man at the main site. ![]() If anyone knows more of his ability, about the research of him and about this rare ability in general, let's discuss it here. I'd like to ask the more scientifically adept people here as to what can be done in order to test Miroslaw's claims reliably. Maybe we could actually do something. He's supposed to travel to US soon and he lives in the center of Europe. I'm sure he can be reached and tested throughly. He also seems to be willing to participate. Also, if anyone reads German, please write me and I'll email you the article from the German magazine that Miroslaw has sent me. Thanks, Jacob. Mind-Energy.net

| Thanks for posting this interview, Jacob. Unfortunately, Mr. Magola's "skill" still appears to be a performance, and seeing that there truly has never been a formal scientific testing of this skill under tightly controlled protocol, it's hard to not be skeptical. However, there is something very interesting in one of the photographs you posted. It appears that Mr. Magola's own body gives him away. The photograph with the silver pot stuck to his forehead reveals Mr. Magola slightly stretching his neck out and tilting his head up, the muscles in his neck and shoulders are tightened and the veins are popping out. This is not a man whose upper body is at ease or at rest. In fact, he is extremely tensed up. Additionally, there is a visible segment of forehead skin folded underneath the pot itself, creating a bit of a ledge or support for the pot. So, by the visual evidence of this photograph alone, I have no choice to conclude that this is a very carefully constructed balancing act that requires great skill, but little magnetism. I welcome any other opinion or thought.

| Hi, Marcel. I understand you skepticism and I am a skeptical man myself, so I have not drawn any final conclusions of the man myself. But I wouldn't consider the fact that he stretches his neck as a trick. First, the bowl must weight something, even if it is "attached" to the forehead, which might require pumping more blood to the head (the veins) etc. Moreover, we don't know what it might require from his brain to do that (the switch). I wonder if you even come close to this balancing of a bowl on a forehead. Also, see for example the following video, at about -2:30 minutes you'll see him sticking a transparent tape case to the forehead and rotating the head. It can't be balanced. Magnetic man Miroslaw Magola with another on Yahoo! Video I suggest to find a way to better analyze him.

| Miroslaw called me about an hour ago and thanked me for my article. We talked for quite a while and he told me more about his meetings with various scientists in Europe and in the US. He also told me that he was approached by several media groups, including National Geographics but he declined them and others because they wanted all copyright to his media. Also, he told me that he couldn't understand Randi's motives and wrote that Randi once again wrote about him about 3 days ago and called him names. He insisted that he'll be gladly meet and demonstrate his abilities to Randi on TV. He also promised to send me a DVD where his performance is seen better than in the online videos, so that I'll take a better look. We've also agreed to meet when we visit each other's countries. Miroslaw is a very nice man over the phone and it was a pleasure to speak with him.

| I've just read what Randi's latest newsletter wrote about him and it's just outrageous. This is a short quote: Just to set things straight, Miroslaw Magola is an unwashed man with sticky skin who does a simple, juvenile stunt that can be totally defeated with a few grams of talcum powder. He’s a fake, a trickster, a liar.Source: SWIFT March 14, 2008*-*James Randi Educational Foundation I think this is not a way to treat a debate. And Randi never actually met Miroslaw and never checked him. Shame on Randi, I say.
