Jus' watching loads of who wants to be a millionaire. I really have no idea of the most of the answers. What the flippin' heck is "jedward"?? Sometimes they ask really easy questions to get to £150,000, but impossible questions to get to £1000!! It's so stupid! I'd do really well to get to £5000, even with the life lines.

Thought jedward might have been something to do with star wars. Dunno, never seen any of the star wars films.

If you don't know a lot of pop culture stuff I'm guessing you'd be at a real disadvantage on that show. Unreal that you've never seen any of the Star Wars films- though the last three were complete crap and I wouldn't waste my time on them. But the first two, particularly Empire Strikes Back, are pretty good. But I've never heard of "jedward" either.

I'm guessing jedward is a mix of Jacob and Edward from the Twilight series?

I just looked it up and it's a duo made up of two effeminate Irish twins with hair that sticks straight up. They do a version of the David Bowie/Queen song "Under Pressure" that is just awful. You can watch it here- it's after a terrible version of Ray Parker's "Ghostbusters". TV is poison.
YouTube - JedWard breaks leg LIVE (FULL VIDEO WITH FALL!!!)
During a transition from the Queen song to Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" one of them breaks his leg and is hopping around on stage, obviously in agony- and yet the show continues. Kind of funny in a black humor sort of way.

That was hilarious. I can see Vanilla Ice taking the paycheck, but Queen licensing to these guys? And didn't Vanilla Ice steal that lick the first time?

Anyhow, on a sort of related note, Gossip Girl is a sort of guilty pleasure for me (I know, I know!), so when I heard two of the stars, Leighten Meister and Taylor Momsen had put out albums, I had to check them out. Meister as a pretty ho hum standard girl pop album. But the real surprise is Momsen, who has put out (at 17 years old) an honest to goodness rock album, with a sort of dark tone to it. Her voice is surprisingly mature. Worth checking out, IMO:
