Maybe the full names are given, but they're hard to hear or pick up. On a couple of occasions I've remembered full proper names from dreams and been able to verify them, but it is very hard to remember that kind of information. Maybe it is the same for mediums?
But isn't a medium "hearing" the name right then? The communication with the deceased must be in real time, or else the live readings are rigged.
