help my daughter

Not sure if I'm posted in proper topic so I apologize if i'm not. I need to know how to help my daughter. She keeps seeing spirits in our home. One scares her so much that she won't sleep in her room anymore. I have told her to confront this spirit to find out what it wants. I tell her to ask it what she can do to help her. My daughter doesn't want to even be in the room with her. She just runs out and says that the girl is too scary looking. Says that she looks dead, dark black eyes and long blond hair. She also sees a little boy wearing knickers and a newsboy cap. I don't want her to be scared. I want her to accept this gift if she can and learn how to deal with this so that she isn't scared. Is there anything I can do to help calm her down or help her get through this? Please and thanks

There are two problems here. One is the problem with the spirits your daughter is seeing, the other is how to help her develop her gift.

If she doesn't want to develop her gift you shouldn't push her, just let her know you think her ability is fine and you'd support her decision if she did want to develop it.

If she is interested, one way to help her develop her abilities would be for your family to try attending a spiritualist church. Spiritualists accept people of all faiths, you don't have to give up your present faith to go to their services. A spiritualist church could be a good place for her to meet others with similar abilities and experiences. They usually have clases in mediumship but may not let children in the classes. It would still be a good experience for her to try going to a few spiritualist church services with her family. After the service you can talk with the pastor or other ministers about any problems that she is having with her abilities.

I've read there there are some fraudulent churches and I've never come across any, but you have to be aware of the possibility. Anyone asking for lots of money is a sure sign of fraud. Church classes cost about $10 for each class and meet once a week. Fees might be higher but if they are a lot higher or they ask for special donations or fees of large sums of money stay away.

If you don't have any spiritualists churches in your area that you like you can try to find other psychic development teachers, they will charge more than a church for classes so expect that but you should also be careful about frauds. You may want to try to get a reading yourself from anyone you are considering asking to help your daughter. A good psychic will give you very specific information about your deceased relatives that they could have no way of knowing. If they give you vague information and then proceed to give a detailed message then you should be careful.

As for dealing with the spirits she is seeing, if they are coming to her to encourage her to develop her ability then they may stop if she begins to take classes. I know someone in exactly this sitation. When he was a teenager he started seeing sprits. He was frightened, doubted his own sanity, wondered if they were statinic etc. He got introduced to spiritualism and psychic development through a new age gift shop and then got involved with a spiritualist church. And the nighttime visitations stopped.

If she doesn't want to develop then she can try talking to the spirits and tell them that they are scaring her and she should ask them to stop visiting her.

Your daughter could be imagining it - You can test your daughter for ability without letting her know. For example ... 3 types of test below (or make up your own but don't tell her she is being tested)

(1) Get out some old photographs of relatives who have passed on. Give her no clue what you are doing, refer only to ones still on earth she would know and see if she recognizes others or provides information she wouldn't know by normal means.

(2) Next time she sees someone, you send out a mental request for certain information to be supplied to your daughter and see if it occurs

(3) invent a friendly spirit for a short while, describe this friendly spirit in detail pretending you can see how she is dressed, etc. Then ask daughter if she can see this too, if she says she can see it too, you have more reason to favour she is just impressionable and it is probably her imagination. Do not keep the invention up long. Finish it by telling her the friendly one has come to take the scarey one away to where she belongs.

I tell her to ask it what she can do to help her. My daughter doesn't want to even be in the room with her.

Why get the daughter to do this? If you believe spirits are real, why don't you mentally ask for these to be taken away?

Any 'spirit' scaring a child intentionally or unintentionally, isn't the sort of 'spirit' you would want anyway, regardless of whether your child has natural ability or not. You wouldn't invite a stranger into your home, so why invite any 'spirit' without some discernment, don't feel flattered, honoured, question it.

I want her to accept this gift if she can and learn how to deal with this so that she isn't scared.

I am not sure I would call being scared a gift. A talent is something under control ... if she does have a ability it will emerge again later in life when she is more ready to develop it... and may develope a gift perhaps.

Take all the stress out of it usually works. Don't encourage it, don't discourage it, don't make a big deal of it just be calm and reassuring if she is upset. Don't reward her for seeing anything correct. Don't tell her what she is seeing is false either. Be more calm, positive and nonchalant so the daughter feels like that around you too. See what occurs naturally after that.

If it persists in an unwanted manner to child, get advice from both a child psychologist and also an evidential medium, neither actually need to speak to the child directly. The psychologist will give you advice and mediums usually claim they can remove it remotely. One or the other might help.
