Seeing and hearing spirits

Hello everyone,


The most interesting aspect of these experiences is, to me, the instances when the experience seems to provide information that is inbetween a "third person" and a "first person" perspective. By "third" person perspective", I mean information that can be verified by someone else as a shared experience. By "first person perspective", I mean information that is confined to the mind of the person having the experience. For example, shay_angel78 said,

...Was this a warning sign, because just yesterday I recieved news that my Aunt had passed away.

So, it's interesting that these spirits are "first person" phenomena in the sense that they can only be seen by the person having the experience, but they are also "third person" phenomena in the sense that they provide information that can be verified by someone else.

I was wondering if anyone has had this kind of experience where the spirit provided you with some kind of information that could be verified later, but which could not have been known without the aid of the spirit?

Hi Dave!

Your comment was very interesting! I'm not an expert in the spiritual world and I can't really explain what is going on between our world and the spirit world or why they choose to make themselves appear to a certain person.

It is true that I was the only one who saw this black figure. But would the others have seen the figure if they were facing the same direction as I was? The two others that were sitting with me were my cousin, who is also a niece of the deseased, and a friend who did not know my aunt. I think that the spirit would not have shown himself to the friend because the friend had no clue to who my aunt was. And my cousin is unsure of the spirit world.

I myself believe in spirits but do not really understand them. My great grandfather was very sensitive to spirits as was my grandmother and mother. This is my best answer to your question. But I think every individual would have a different answer because of their own beliefs.

Oh yeah as for the black figure I saw I'm not sure if it was a warning sign. I just thought about the black figure the day my aunt had passed away and thought maybe someone(a spirit) was trying to tell me something. But then again maybe it was just a spirit that lives in our house also. My mother tells me that when someone is just about to pass to the other side we will get a warning sign we just have to keep our minds open to what the sign is.

I have another story that I think was a warning sign. "My grandfather had passed away from cancer a few years ago. But before he passed he used to have this little bell he used to ring if he needed something because he couldn't get out of bed and do things for himself anymore. He ended up going to the hospital because he was getting worse everyday. I was home alone at my granparents house because I used to live with them. I was in my room and my granfathers room was right across from mine. I was sitting in my room reading and then I had heard his bell ringing. I went to see who was ringing it because I thought I was alone in the house, but when I reached the room no one was there. I observed the bell to see maybe it had fallen but it was in the same place where my grandfather had kept it. An hour later the phone had rang and it was my aunt telling me that granfather had passed."

I have quickly read your posts with interest and maybe I can shed some light on these Spiritual Beings.

All of these Spiritual Beings are basically the Souls or Energy of deceased people, animals and birds. For a variety of reasons they do not depart from Earth, when the Physical Body dies. Most Spiritual beings depart soon after death, when they are met and guided home

A very small number of these Souls or Energy Beings become trapped because they have lost contact with their Spirit Guide and don't seem to know how to return to their home in The Spirit World. They are generally looking for some one to help them return to The Spirit World.

Your are all attracting them because you are high level Souls. You may not have much memory or awareness of this; however the colour of your Aura gives you away. These Spiritual Beings recognise this and seek help from someone, they know is generally equal or more advanced than themselves.

One of the things I do is permanently remove Spirit Beings by releasing them from Earth and sending Guides to guide them home. This is permanent and they only return when they choose a new foetus and are born again as another person.

It can be quite dangerous to communicate with these trapped Spirit Beings because there are both positive and negative Beings. You really need to understand who you are communicating with and their intentions. Some will deceive you making you believe they are someone they are not to gain some power over you or your actions.

Some of the worst crimes have been by committed by people being lead astray by misguided negative Spiritual Beings. On the other hand great things have been accomplished by people guided by positive Spiritual Beings.

The only Spiritual Being that is totally committed to you and your best interests is your Spirit Guide who will communicate to you from The Spirit World and is your first method of connection to The Source.

Many people who attract Spiritual Beings have very disturbed Life Energy Fields because of these Spiritual Beings. This can manifest in mental and physical problems and sickness.

Apart from this which varies with different people there is generally nothing to be worried about. Carla seems to have a good understanding and Love is the essence of Life and Protection. Ask and you will receive.

I usually hang about on the "podcast" and "science debates" threads on this forum and don't usually read the "experience" threads. I guess I've just grown up to think more on those terms. My views on all the experiences posted here will no doubt be different from the people who posted them. You and others (so it seems, please correct me if I'm wrong) interpret your experiences in terms of spirit entities that are independent of the mind of the person having the experience and who pass on a message about the death of a loved one to a recipient, in a similar way that a person would. I like to interpret these experiences, not in terms of independent entities, but in terms of a direct interaction between an individual mind and it's environment (which could include other minds).

For example, your above experience looks very like a classic case of ESP. You heard your grandfather's bell ring followed by the phonecall. My view is that, somehow, a direct link formed between your mind and the event of your grandfathers death. It could have been precognition of the upcoming phone call, or it could have been telepathy between your mind and your grandfather's. It's all very interesting.
