Questions about myself

Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing some strange things lately, and I just wanted some insight as to what they could be, so bear with me and I'll go through my lengthy story.

I've always had a sense of spirits and energy since I was little. Noteable events would be when I was 14 my mother and neighbour were sitting around a table talking about a possible presence in the neighbours house. An empty cup moved slowly for 1 foot (30 cms) and stopped. No wind or fans and even had both look at me thinking i was doing it. I raised my handes an exclaimed it was not me while it was still moving.

When I was 19, I experienced what I thought was an outer body experience. I was laying in bed, half awake, half sleep and I felt myslef leave, but could also consciuosly sense my body was still in bed. I was paralyzed. Where i went was full of light, a city of such. I was flying and got to the point where I made myself feel naseaus (spelling) at which point I returned without notice and was able to move once again. When I say paralyzed, I felt a great weight on my entire body, like gravity in a Geforce Ride.

Also, when 19 I expereicnced a sight of 2 spirits in the span of a couple of months. I was driving at night, when a black long draped figure ran infornt of my car and into some bushes. No other reaccurance. Sometime after, at work, I looked out the floor to roof windows at our drive-thru and saw a large white spirit walk/float through dive-thru. While working there, I also experienced several instances of things flying out of boxes (sleeves of cups etc).

When I was 22, I witnessed a large indian man in full headress standing crossarmed in front of my mother/step fathers town house. Also noted seeing a large cross on the wooden door several times.

When I was around 24 I had several experiences. I heard a thud late at night against the side sliding window I was sitting next to, like a tennis ball had been thrown up against it. My dog was outside, and he went to the spot I thought I saw it hit and begain licking the spot. Another time, I was sitting at my computer, I heard a rustle. Looked over and my shoe was doing a full 360 with nothing around it. It was on a plastic bag while this was happening. I picked up the shoe and looked around it to find nothing. Another time, I was walking up the hall, and my light was casting a shadow of someone in my room. The person was tall with long hair. Without thinking, I believed it to be my room mate. Walked in the room to great him, but no one was there. Wlaked out and checked the wall by retracing my steps and found no shadow.

I also remember having a dream when I was 23/24 about my mother being eaten by a kill whale. I looked up the meaning, to find it was about life, not death. I told my mum I felt she was preganent. SHe said that was silly. 3 weeks later she asked me how I knew. More recently, I dreamed that someone was going to die. The person in the dream wasn't the person who died, but interestingly the date in my dream was my grandfathers birthday who died a month later.

I am a very logical person. I do not follow any religions. I like to learn the source of every problem and provide solutions. I dissasemble situations to learn from them. I a heavily into computers and technology. I have seen a psychic 2 times in my life. Both times I was told that I had strong psychic abilities, but have never taken it further. Recently, I was told I am a "sensitive". This could be taken many ways. I have extra sensitive eyes. Water makes them flare up. Extra sensitve skin. Burn without much warning. Extra sensitive stomach, and extra sensitive senses (sneezing, allergies), most coming later in life.

I can slow my heart rate down, by just thinking it. I've been hooked up to cardiac machines and tested this. I can feel heat energy patterns with my hands. Mostly concentrated in the middle of my palms, but sometimes just through my fingers. I sense the pain in a persons back and isolate the area. Ussually 100% accurate depending on own energy levels (sleep etc). Just today, I sensed the spots on the back where the pain was coming from. It's like I saw it, but not like aura and all that, but I just new the area's that were affected. Pretty accurately.

I just remembered, when I was 13 or 14 I reieved a large electric shock through an antenea cable. I was thrown across the room apparently screaming, although I had no recollection of this. I am very suseptible to electric shocks now. I can feel electricity through some objects (feels like a 9-volt battery on your tounge, but through your fingers) when others can't.

I don't know how all this ties in but if someone could help me understand it a bit more, that would be great. So overall, I have an extra sensitive feeling to pain in a person through my hands, I can feel electricity in objects, I can see (as such) energy on a person where they feel pain, I can slow my heart, I can see spirits every now and then, I have had prophetic dreams. I often say things about a subject that others had mentioned eg. (that song should be played raw, when the man's wife said that to him that previous night). With that particular person, it happens alot.

If anyone can shed some light, that would be great. Sorry for the lengthy story, but it might be the reason someone has an answer for me.

It sounds like you have had a lot of interesting experiences. These things happen to other people too but I don't think anyone know why they seem to happen more often to some people than others.

I'm not sure what kind of explanation you are looking for, but if you haven't read on the subject I would suggest you try looking at books on psychic phenomena, and biographies of mediums so you can learn more about what is known.

Also sometimes it is helpful to meet other people with similar experiences. A good place to do this is at a spiritualist church. If there are any in your area you might try going to the sunday service and learning about what types of classes they have. (There are frauds out there too so you have to be aware of that.)

There is also an afterlife discussion group on facebook where there are several psychics who regularly post who might have advice for you and lots of people with similar experiences to talk with. There is a chat once or twice a week, remoteviewing practice, and online mediumship circle there as well.

Hi Jonathan!

I really enjoyed reading your post! I have strange things happen throughout my life as well. I've had dreams that have come true and have seen spirits when I was younger.

These days I usually just hear spirits. What I find weird is that when I had my hearing tested for a job the dr told me my hearing was excellent and that I was at the top 5% of people in Canada with really good hearing. That's why I figure I can just hear spirits. Sometimes I think they try to warn me or just want to be heard. I'd rather just hear them then actually see them. I'm still kind of afraid. I know I shouldn't be because when you think about these spirits we see or hear are people just like me just they have gone to the other side.

I don't really have an answer for you, just wanted to let you know you are not alone.
