PLEASE I am desperate !! Can some-one explain this to me.

I have been having this very strange dream since 10 years ago. The dream is always the same every day, and it does not change or alter in any where. Although the dream is not scary at all, what really bothers me is that it never goes away. It keeps on coming (exactly the same), maybe four to five times a week, for the past ten years now. How can I really get rid of this dream.

That is interesting Out of curiousity, do you feel the dream set in the past, present or future?

Can you describe the dream in some detail? (If not too personal of course). However before you describe it in here, I want you check if family members (particularly those in same house) or very close friends are having a similar reoccuring dream, do not describe the dream in too much detail to them just a little and listen, gradually give them the gist of it and see if they report any extraordinary matching of details.

Although the dream is not scary at all, what really bothers me is that it never goes away.

If you want this reoccuring dream to end ... one thing you should realize is that you can learn to control what occurs in your dream. Just believe you can change what occurs in the dream and do it! It may take practise but sooner or later it will change form and probably eventually break up and stop.

*If* your dream is associated with some past traumatic experience (which I doubt since you say 'not scary at all') ....it would be better to get a little professional help than ask us in here.

I think telling others about reoccuring dreams often stops them ...inexplicably sometimes others are having a similar type of dream too .... I had a reoccuring dream for years, non-scary just bizarre .... to my surprise I found out my brother had the same reoccuring dream for years too .....after finding that out, I never had the dream again!
